And he gets to keep his $3 million campaign fund. He's still raising money and it's expected to be $4 million when he retires. Gee, that kind of law is seemingly universal amongst politicians. Hmmmm. I wonder who came up with that idea? Street vendors, office clerks, farmers, policemen, soldiers, small business owners...???? Who could it be? Might explain why Gary Condit isn't quitting until after another campaign fund raiser or two.
