I agree completely and also think a lot of their pensions are just as ridiculous. How can that Governor get a pension $20k/yr more than his salary? On top of the $4m "Bonus". I wonder how much of his salary over his political career was contributed by him to his pension fund. And how much was withheld for Soc Sec and matched by the State and whichever his political employers were in the past. I don't know the facts, but I don't think I would be far off guessing $0, $0, and $0.
