There is no liberal bias in the media. In fact just the opposite. Bush has had a free ride, so far anyway, and so has Cheney. Not one liberal news program maybe with the exception of Geraldo (who usually discuses non-political issues) even exists on any of the major networks. Am I wrong? Meanwhile you've got talkshows for even indictables like Ollie North, G Gordon Liddy and the biggest fattest most obvious right-wing party propaganda machine, Rush L. Now Hannity joins their ranks. And where is the balance? Anywhere? Not that I can see. Bottomline the "liberal bias" which maybe existed after the 70's Watergate era (and for good reason) is a myth in the 90's and 2000 era. Ever sicne the Reagan era the balance has shifted back into the conservatives' favor. And those guys have bigger mouths as well. For instance, I see much more of Mary Matalin than I do James Carville. Just an example. It's as if the networks are bending over backwards to be more conservative, and of course Rupert Murdoch's Fox is very Republican. Murdoch makes no bones about that. And CNBC is pretty conservative too. GE is Republican-leaning and Bill Siedman (?) is a Republican. They always gave Clinton hell but I haven't seen them go after Bush-Cheney once (yet). They play the Bush photo ops without counterpoint.
