We get a great hummingbird show last week. They are exceptionally agressive. We had 6 or 7 battling for rights to our feeders. Flying and buzzing around like jets in a dog fight.

One of them even "accosted" me as I replaced the nectar.

They change with the time of the year. In the Spring we get great blue herons, egrets and bluewing teal in the ditch.

For a few weeks I had a mocking bird that hunted just outside my window. My deck railing is where the bluebirds perch while scanning for prey.
