It makes me think how strong Intel is going to be coming out of this bad cycle since they are still spending on capital equipment. Perhaps Intel will take back much of what was lost to Japan when Intel didn't invest in past downturns?

BTW, "sold out" has less meaning when they allow people to cancel orders but it does make a good headline. If they were really "sold out" rather than "just booked available capacity", then they would have money in the bank implying an actual "sale" of capacity.
