Similar story: Allen Ginsberg said that his mother used to tell him in high school, "Allen, why can't you bring home a nice Jewish girl?" Then Ginsberg said, "Now she says, Allen, why can't you bring home a girl?" I am afraid that after the decline of the NASDAQ, which was like riding a bike down from the Rockies, the ride over the next few years will be like riding a bike across the Great Plains. You lose altitude, but not enough to make it very exciting. And I don't even live anywhere near a race track of any kind--except stock cars, which I guess you can make illegal bets on. My poker circle turned into a kind of academic PAC.
