Found his comment fascinating about how the LEI indicators won't work because we aren't in a bull market How does this guy think bull markets get started, magic? Heaven forbid anyone might want to look at real economic data. Guess we will just have to stay in a bear market because we are in a bear market.

This article reminds me of the extremely bullish articles back when the dot coms were in the good old days. "To the moon!" has been replaced with "to the depths of despair!"

"You want a leading indicator that works in bull and bear markets? I'll give you one -- it's called the stock market."

A week or so ago I posted much the same babble. The only ones who will tell you the above are technicians, as if it's a dirty secret. That it is too valuable to be given to the public at large. It's certainly a truth that eludes many an investor. The market will tell you where it is going. Many people find that a difficult concept to take in. We have been conditioned to fear missing the bounce, the rally, the bottom. But until the demand for a stock outweighs the supply they will be bounces, rallies and bottoms. No bull.

Just for kicks, in case some have forgotten what an uptrend looks like, check on appb, stld, agy,lny and mea.
It's ashame to still be lamenting sunw, jdsu, glw and nt when there has been money to be made. Trend says out, i'm out. Trend says in, I'm in. The trend is the best friend you have. Buy and hold? Only if my friend says so.
