Great info, John. My own guess is we could still head a lot lower. I think the ARMS index has clearly lost relevance. I count 30 straight months that the TRIN has moved above 2.0; before 1999, it was a rare event.

Look at the 1998 moves above that level: big white monthly candlesticks, not these big upper shadows that have happened in every month for the last 2 1/2 years. Unlike 1998, fear hasn't been sustained. Yet. JMHO.
