As the skipper of a ship it is clear to me that President Bush is leading. From all the successes he has had so far it is clear that he out thinks those who oppose his plans.

Murali.........Bush reminds me of the kid next door who was never picked for the ball team, was passed over for running errands, and who went around watching everyone else having a good time.

Bush has very little heart or soul. C'mon. The "compassion" thing is just damage control. He is fairly cold fish (though not as cold as Cheney by any means) but he is a good actor when he can play the easy good ole boy role he prefers to play. On the international stage however he is a deer caught in the spotlights. They see right through his act out there. A lot of people see through his act here too. More and more.

Hi Murali,

I agree that Bush does not come accross as the "bigger than life" personality that some of our previous presidents have portrayed. For all of my criticism of bill clinton, I have to admit that he had a very Charismatic personality. It has occured to me that his administration would have been better off if he could have quietly captained the ship a little more instead of trying to be a lone blimp.

Bush is no slouch in confronting issues but is very mindful of his constituancy and willing to let the team do its job.
