Funny. I never posted this, but when Condit started overflowing the news again, I had 2 thoughts:

1. Condit is in the noise politically, in terms of Republicans vs. Democrats, compared to redistricting.

2. Redistricting is a perfect opportunity to get rid of him.

Maybe it will all work out for the best.

Oh good, that's a relief. My only concern at this point is that fellow Dems may not continue to publicly rebuke him for his heel-dragging in the Levy affair.
