If Only, "corporations receive financing based on the value of their stocks" is true.

I am talking about PUBLIC corporations. Your example is a private company. You are referring to your corporation not needing financing, due to making profits. Obviously the sort of companies in need of financing are those without profits. And such companies do receive financing based on the value of their stock. . . and the implied fundamentals which go toward creating a valuation for the company.
