"falling out" is a very strong statement. Would adding few non-intel designs would be considered falling out?
Intel support unix and yet no one is considering it as "falling out" between intel and microsoft.
INturn microsoft has a good working relationship with amd and yet wintel lives on
BTW not that I am saying that the rumor is true or even that it is likely - just that the chance are better than few weeks back
