<<I think we crash 87 style, and we do so within the next two weeks. Will re-establish Gold positions.>>

If it's gonna happen, I think it'll be in September and not October. Prewarning season is here and it's NASTY, everyone expects a crash in October (so they'll dump in September to be "ahead" of it. We're already fairly oversold, so that's set up well. I think there's a chance, but crashes are pretty rare. I've lightened up on puts into the down this week, and I'm down to 3 short positions, and one of those is boxed (of course, if all bears do this, we WILL crash, cause there won't be any short covering to support it.

Another thought I had was EOM 401K Mutual fund switching. Think some folks will be moving from the "Acme equities fund" to the "Acme bond/income/stable value funds" this month? (If I hadn't been in all money markets in my 401K since 3/15/00, I know I would!<G>)

I was hoping for a bigger pullback in gold myself.
We just did not get it.

It is nominally below my last exit and stochastics approaching oversold.
