bmw re: to get first dibs if everything is as it used to be I doubt IBM, Micron and compaq and possibly gateway would choose to support intel. I am not saying that intel's product line is bad but why would oems limit themselfs. I do not buy cost cutting on support bit dell gained a lot of market share from other oems with intels help so I doubt that other oems would through their support without getting anything from intel. If intel would give the same breaks to other that would make dell less competitive. Regards -Albert
