I agree in general. Certainly Democrats next year will blame Bush for
the recession.

At present I only look at the past "to learn from our mistakes "
as Santayanna said, so we don't repeat them.
What concerns me, is that I believe the Dems have no interest
or desire to help Bush succeed.
And so, just as Gore in Nov. was playing the fiddle
to get more votes while the Nasdaq sunk
similarly this fall there will be another budget fight
and the looser will me the American people.
The market will continue thus to drift aimlessly down
since it will be clear that there will be no leadership other than possibly Bush's ? multiple vetoes,
