Jon, that is good news. Once again, Globalstar customers will be able to enjoy a free leg of lamb with each Globalstar phone purchase. The illegal move by President Clinton to stop New Zealand sheep meat imports was almost certainly directly responsible for Globalstar's failure and possibly the economic crunch the world has fallen into. It's Karma. Gaia got angry. Now, the USA has come back onto the side of free trade and international trade and globalisation. CDMA sales in New Zealand and China will be able to continue now that the absurd crime perpetrated by Bill Clinton and the USA of breaching WTO rules while preaching hypocritically to Japan and China has been abandoned. We can expect an early economic recovery now that the madness is starting to pass. There is another little detail which needs sorting out. There is right now a ship full of Afghanistan and Pakistan people who illegally flew to Indonesia, got on a boat and attempted to invade Australia. They claim to be refugees. Yeah, yeah! Mess up their own rotten little countries then export their barbarity to the civilized world. No thanks. We are messing up our own rotten little country fast enough without training by foreign experts. The solution is obvious. The United Nations already controls what used to be part of Indonesia and before that part of the Dutch colony called East Timor. The UN should deem it to be a country within a United Nations federation. The UN should take refugees and other stateless people there [and to other similar countries which aren't countries] to be sorted out and maybe to live. Set up Globalstar fixed phones around East Timor towns and use Globalstar mobiles for out in the bush. Mqurice
