My family had a Beagle too, and his name was Rocky. We got him when my little brother was in the 1st grade and he lived till my brother was in College. I remember one time, my Dad remarked that he thought Rocky was getting into the neighbors trash. My Mom asked why he thought that and just then, he walked by the window with a hefty bag attached to his collar. We called him "Big R." One Easter, he took the Honey Baked Ham off my Mom's table and hid it. I have lots of "Big R" stories. He was a great Family Dog.
