My buys now I consider quite conservative. And whatever losers I hold like SCNT I've just decided to wait out and hold for a year. Very small holdings anyway. Just a few grand. Most of my money is in oil-gas, SKX, then AAPL, NOK, EMC and PALM, the last four were all bought down at the recent bottoms as were half my oil-gas stocks. I consider all of these stocks quite undervalued though the market will do what the market does, and you don't know what it's going to do either. Congrats on any success you've had shorting during August. It was a great month to short. But things may change quickly now. Don't tell me they won't. Not even the experts know now. I expect some violent short-covering when and if big institutional buying re-commences. There will also be more sharp dips but maybe not for awhile. I'm hoping for a decent September, maybe up 20% then I may bail out. And if it dips next week I may buy more. You may disagree but for instance I don't see much risk in buying NOK or EMC at 15, PALM at 3.50 etc. Nor HAL at 28 or SKX at 20. We'll see.
