gs: Why, you did. No, I didn't. That was your unfounded conclusion. We were discussing the relevance to society of the origin of our rights--from God or from society. I was arguing that it has no relevance because proponents of each side are capable of being good citizens or doing horrible deeds, for example, the murder of those children. I didn't blame God for her act. I only used her as an illustration of a believer who was also a multiple murderer. I don't think we yet have any basis for assessing why she did what she did. No doubt the media will make that information available at the time of the trial. Karen
