doing a little bit of spectral analysis on the compx for grins. Using almost 6 years of daily data I got strong components @

169, 170, 144, 331, 168, 212 in that order of strength.

Haven't seen any TA that talks about cycles on that number of days -- of course that's trading days and would have to be translated into calendar days. It is interesting that there is a strong cluster (169, 170, 168). With holidays and weekends that might be around what? 229 or 230 days -- what an odd number ...

34, 144 & 331 also have 'clusters.' interesting ...

Do you know where I can get historical data on the indices down to the minute for free?
