I regret to say that my son majored primarily in freedom and girls. Didn't quite flunk out, but didn't have an impressive academic record, either. Hardly surprising, since he was brought up in a vary small community, that he would enjoy the freedoms of a big city. And fortunately no permanent harm done. He wants to go into the FBI, but they require either a law or an accounting degree for their normal entrants, and it was clear he wasn't interested in either. So he left after two years to go into the Air Force, where he is doing much better and has a new focus on life. He will be going back to finish his degree while he's enrolled, then will try for the FBI through their special entry track, which is for non law or accounting candidates who have other skills. He's hoping to get into the AF Criminal Investigations Division in a year or two (the soonest he can apply).

Basically, it's taking him longer to mature, at least intellectually, than it took the girls. But that's fine. He's still a fine young man, and I realize that at his age I had NO idea what I wanted to do with my life, so he's ahead of where I was. And I turned out fine, of course! <g>

Put "Sales ability" on my list. I started this incentive program for my son. He earns stickers, and gets toys. Well, so far this weekend, he has been earning them like Crazy. I have got to think of something that works better.:) Does your wife have any ideas, since she teaches 1st grade?

Actually, I am really happy that he behaves so well. He was sitting with two little boys at a table yesterday, and they started a food fight. I went to buy him new shoes for sports, and another little boy ran beteen the clothes, after hitting his Mother, screaming and throwing a fit.
