To All, College football review. Too many mismatches, though there were a few good games. Wisconsin-Oregon was excellent and both teams looked pretty good. UCLA-Alabama was outstanding and both teams looked suckey. They both have great players, but the teams didn't mesh well. Penn State didn't look good against Miami, but I think that was Miami looking very good. Penn State will still be a spoiler in the Big Ten. Bad games: Texas A&M against McNeese State. How bad are the Aggies this year to barely win this one? Nebraska vs. Troy State? Gimme a break. Didn't the Greeks burn down Troy State a few thousand years ago? Minnesota vs. Toledo and last week's Colorado vs. Fresno State. What horrible mismatches. What's that? Who won. O.K., scratch that comment. <g>

Oklahoma's defense looked awesome, though I'm not certain that either Air Force or North Carolina are going to be .500 teams this year. The Sooners offense was a bit ragged.

Meanwhile, I can't wait for the Ivy League to open to see how college students play the game. <g>

Hey, Vassar has an open date. I hope Nebraska and Texas A&M don't fall all over themselves lining up this clash of the titans. <g>

Knighty Night.
