So Star Wars IS creating an arms race and Bush-Cheney want this? Why? For their defense contractor friends? Boy are our allies going to be pissed about this. And it may de-stabilize Russia as well. Russia and China could gang up against the US because of this Bush arrogance and really cost us. And guess what the computer-hacker expert Chinese will find a way to beat Star Wars no matter what. So far the system has only been able to knock one slow-moving pre-identified, pre-located missile with a homing device on it. Star Wars is many years from us even know if it could work, and the Bush-Cheney lies about it defending us from tin-pot dictatorships are pathetically transparent. What is the real agenda here? And why are Republicans backing it when it makes no common sense at all?
