Hi Ed, I'm trolling the Naz site and found this nasdaq.ibes.com

Not a good projected EPS for NG and oil. Looking at all sectors, EPS growth is seen as greatest in tech. Click on tech to see subsectors. dynamic.nasdaq.com

re: The sentences under the heading: "MANUFACTURING: PICKING UP A PULSE?"

Well I'll be darned! Someone in the media has been paying attention to what has been going on! Never thought I'd see a day in August or September when the media would so accurately and concisely report the real news.

Bottom line: inventories have been worked off to the point where manufacturing demand is starting to resume. From the manufacturing standpoint we have seen the bottom. As more inventories burn off manufacturing demand will continue to increase. Don't know about y'all but that was the buy signal I was waiting for. Nice of it to come during a week when the big boys were on vacation and the market was panicking!

Panic: 1) Sudden unreasoned fear that causes an individual or entire group to lose self-control and take wild flight; demoralizing terror. 2) Outbreak of widespread alarm,as in a community, over financial matters, leading to hasty, ill-advised measures to avoid loss.
