Either that or the US Civil War would have happened a few decades earlier. Only about 10 years after the War of 1812...perhaps Britian would have been willing to have a more "dynamic" involvement in the war at that date?

One thing for sure, the rest of the continent would have been turned on to the joys of Mexican food much sooner! This gringo is happy to celebrate May 5th any day with plenty of enchiladas on his plate, cervesa in his glass, and Los Lobos blaring from his stereo system.

M, the train sputters, gives some hope, then sputters again. Right now they are showing signs of some hope, but not enough for me to recommend it to anyone. The saga continues...
