Indians who, say, do not like Pakistanis for irrational reasons, are not racist, but perhaps prejudiced, a far more accurate word for all of these conflicts, but one which does not carry the hyperbolic punch of a charge of "racism." Eventually, the misuse of the concept of "race" and the word "racism", will be further extended so that we will eventually hear of Californians having "racist" prejudices against Oregonians, and such. Following that, the term will be exhausted and cease to have meaning, and power. Sic transit gloria hyperbole (or something like that).
