Stomper, of the commercial REIT's, I think the health care ones are among the safest. Demand for health care is not decreasing, indeed, with the Patient's Bill of Rights, I suspect that hospitals in particular will benefit as pressure is taken off them and providers to shorten lengths of stay. The demographic shift to an older American population continues to work in their favor as well. All in all, not a bad choice to park some dough for the next several years and longer, IMO. (Nice yields also to supplement decreasing income from T-Bills for conservative portfolios).
