Bill, what have you learned in the past year? You would do well to put down your pom poms from time to time and give some real thought to what is going on. Manias beget bubbles. Bubbles beget recessions that are more likely to be long and painful rather than than short and shallow as you seem to assume -- see your own vanity thread for example. You call a bottom in the market twice a week 52 weeks a year -- from Naz 4000 to the present. Can you think of any bubble that did not result in a five-to-ten year recession? If we escape that fate we will be very lucky indeed. Lets hope so.
