"I fully expect new lows in the stock market this week anyway"

Al
If the markets don't go green this coming week and continue the upward drive in Sept then I will call this Market one cooked goose. The Biggest Bull Market now turned into the Biggest Bear market ever seen.Just my thoughts.

Al,
I look forward to the new season for the Canadian-under $3.00 Stock-Picking Challenge. Using the offer price on the Friday close for each long stock pick could also be used for short picks as using the offer price is similar to shorting on an up-tick. The contest might be more interesting if a contestant could go either long or short. Also, that way, two people could pick the same stock. If the performance of the stocks chosen each week during last season's stock picking challenges was typical, short sellers might dominate the winners list:-))
cheers,
teevee
