OT - Double Digit Guaranteed Return There's a hokey radio ad going around here ... a firm called Lapin (sp?) and Whittington (sp?). They claim to offer a fixed 12% return with, quote, "a risk level comparable to bonds." They have a stuffy Brit doing the voiceovers, making it sound oh-so-sophisticated. I'm skeptical, and to his credit, so is the local guy on the same station's weekend financial call-in show. Any bonds with a 12% return are deeply junk at the moment. - Mitch
