Hi TM, <<McTeer answered by saying, "Well ... I suppose ... probably ... problems are real ... rational fear ... I don't understand what happened.">>

Stop it! You are liable to frighten the great proletariat masses who have worked diligently, trusted their leaders, followed their advisors, but are now seeing the SUV of their work being stolen by Wall Street, squandered by Pennsylvania Avenue, and siphoned off by Main Mall. The stock equity implosion will proceed with new vigor as soon as Greenspankie stops cutting rate, which is a matter of sooner than later, as opposed to if. The newly inflated home equity will then have been mostly spent in efforts to soften the consequence of the bubble by participating in the foam. In the end, there will still be debt, bad debt, non-performing debt, debilitating debt, and many years of living under the shadow of widespread consumer bankruptcy and supposedly curative inflation.

The whole episode will seem like a bad dream, and the rudely awakened workers will demand retribution. Look on the horizon for culprits, and who do we see?

Chugs, Jay
