Guess I make too much sense for them. To your credit the worst you have ever been is humorous, but they can't even take humor. Nothing is funny in the world of hot and cold. Challenge their preconceptions. When they realise they're about to lose a discussion, they flee to their gated communities. I never thought of a moderated thread being like a gated community, but you're right it is. They sneer so lovely and smirk so well and then dance around poet and X like cats around a hot bowl of porridge. You can lead a horse to wisdom, but you can't make it understand. There are three ways to get a horse to do something, train, trick or beat. A good hand uses a combination of #1 and #2 but can always resort to #3 in a pinch. Early handling does wonders.
