bert sagara, Agreed, I've had a few SA stocks in the past but none currently. The fundamentals (decreasing production), the currency situation and the political problems all seem to work against the golds in this part of the world this time around. Not like the 70's. The Mining Web article that Ido79 posted made a good case for US gold stocks doing well in a gold bull that is concurrent with a drop in the dollar. Will be interesting to see how the base metal stocks do if the market moves up sharply today. Best Regards, Roebear
