I am so sick of this GW bashing. I am a Democrat who HAD NO CHOICE but to vote for President Bush -- he was the lesser of 2 evils. Gore's "PuppetMasters" would have placed this country in an even more precarious economic situation (and blamed it all on the Republicans anyway -- just like GW is being blamed for everything -- some events that transpired before his presidential election!!).... Oh, and BTW I am from Volusia County, Florida -- an area that supposedly "miscounted" votes, and would not allow the elderly or visually impaired or minorities (I am a minority,too -- I'm a woman) to cast their ballots... That's B.S. I went to the polling precinct with my pop and I saw the elderly (and those in wheelchairs, etc) and Afro-Americans and WOMEN who were given "aid" by the mostly Democratic poll workers, OK? I was there. I was also allowed to help my father (who is visually impaired) to fill out his ballot. The ballot was very easy to comprehend, and we used black markers (not Punch Ballots).... Supposedly, Volusia County mis-counted votes; I don't see how. The balloting process was in utmost simplicity to even someone possessing a 3rd grade education. So the rest of the nation can keep their "FLOR-I-DUH" mentality, but I was a witness. Oh, and I managed to get 200 of my friends to switch to GW instead of Bore (I mean GORE)... How? I just told them to turn on the T.V. and listen and watch. Gore looked like one of those mannequins at Macy's, except his lips moved.... Happy Labor Day!! Lorraine
