Oh, the bubble is not Moore's problem. I hope I did not leave the impression I hold that thesis. No.

The bubble was similar thinking expressed differently. Some would say that some of what Moore wrote was a reflection of what was already happening - effect, if you will - and some of it was causative. And some was coincidental.

I am not smart enough to sort these out and claim one led to the other to the other. Also, I am more of a systems guy, not linear cause/effect. Moore and company were elements of the system. Products and source and consequence are intimately related.
