I might repeat here what I've said before(in so many words) about the perception of S-CDMA delaying fiber to the home(the latter being perceived as an ultimate solution) by virtue of not requiring fiber upgrades.

Interim solutions at lower costs, may well just speed the onset of real "final" solutions in the end, via stimulating demand in the meantime.
