interest rates and fomc are convenient scapegoats, but the bubble inflated despite rate hikes, and it is collapsing despite rate drops.

Right on, bobby b....Greenspan was too aggressive raising rates and too slow to begin the descent...that said it takes a back seat to the incredible mania perpetrated by the investment community. Sadly we will continue to reap the results for years to come.

Amazingly, consumer spending is just beginning to get the message that there may be a problem...and layoffs are starting to pile on.
