I decided to look into this on my Win2k system - you are right - (I never knew this was an option - I guess sometimes it pays to read the manbual)

You can assign a HD / CD etc to reside in an empty folder within another file system. The folder has to exist, and must be empty.

Very useful to know - I plan on adding a 40-80 Gb IDE HD on my pictures directory - no need to use 10k RPM SCSI disk space for pictures
