listened to a story on Ecuador today. I know there are lotso small countries that can get things so screwed up on their own without the help of bankers or gangsters, but I really wonder if whole countries haven't been de-stabilized and screwed up in order to keep our virtuous bubble going as if it were -- the hope of the world.

Heard a story this morning where Aussie were celebrating the elimination of tariffs on Aussi lambs -- in the same story it said that the US couldn't compete -- so with the elimination of the tarrifs our government would be embarking on a subsidy for US farms -- I may be slow, but what's the friggin' difference??
