AS is not completely in left field on that one. The Washington Times connection he is probably referring to is to Sun Myung Moon, the Korean leader of the right-wing religious cult. He has, or had, a significant if not outright ownership of the Washington Times.

Read all about Sun Myung Moon then tell he has a mainstream journalistic bone in his body. His claims to fame are his brain-washed cult members and his virulent anti-communism, also his connection with the korean spy scandals of the 70's (yes that was spying against the USA for S. Korea).
Why anyone reads his rag is beyond me. americanatheist.org

The NY Times is the most respected newspaper in the world.
Comparing it to the Washington Times is like comparing Vogue to Hustler. It's class vs. trash. And you make yourself trash reading such obvious right-wing propaganda. Show me once balanced story in the Washington Times about politics. One story. Ever. Oops, can't find one can you? Enough said.
