Peach,
I got one of these 18 months ago:
zdnet.co.uk
and love everything about it.
The TFTs are so much easier on your eyes.
The decision isn't if to get one it's only when.
They keep getting cheaper and cheaper. When I
bought mine I paid $1400 on Ebay, they were going
for $1800 in the stores and I don't regret it all.
One tip unless a black monitor is necessary for
aestetics go with a grey. One of friends has a black
one and complains it always looks dusty, not the screen,
just the plastic shell.

Hi Norma,

I'm thinking of this one (for home):
compusa.com
It has built in speakers, getting those off the desk will make room for more CD covers, beer mats, fondue bowls, etc.

I have this one at work, *highly* recommended if you can get someone else to pay(g)
