, all seems random
If it is not random, then no matter how complicated it is or indeciferable it is to us it is still fore-ordained. Fate is not free will even if the fated do not know their outcome. It's really quite simple if you think about it a bit.

Hello Greg,

Long time no see. One would think that you attribute all randomness to God, or are you saying that randomness is indistinguishable from God? I don't get it.

If I flip a coin and declare that "heads", God exists and "tails" God doesn't would you expect a difference? I discussed that point at post 300 or so when I asked about lightning hitting porno theaters versus hitting churches of identical form factor.

Wouldn't you expect divorce to lower with Christians (it isn't) or that going to a Christian church gives you a lower rate of cancer (it doesn't)?

The truth is if there is a God, [shSH]e, or [iI]t doesn't appear to give a crap about humanity one way or another in any measurable way (at least by us), certainly not determined by denomination. But, TP is right. It won't be long before someone claims that God intervened vis-a-vis His Holey word.
