Dell will say, "Bring them on".
This is folly of dotcoms- Misery loves company. Growing big by buying indigestion is not the solution to HP. There will be a lot of price competetion, specially in the server and storage markets. That can only be good for Dell. Because when you commoditize these products Dell will have an inherent advantage.
I do think consumer will benefit out of this combination. It will be nice for Dell to shoot for $100B sales to surpass HP-CPQ combo.
