Thomas, some folks did identifiy these opportunities prospectively. Both the run up and the run down. And acted on the information. Appropriately, too it appears. So perhaps instead of "day after quarterbacking", you are seeing an "instant replay" and commentary by the guy with the ball in his hand. The indicators we talk about, like fundamental economic value analysis are not rocket science or secret. But they are not sound-bite simple either and most people invest without using them. Hey, what's new. Lots of people drive without seatbelts too. Which is perfectly fine until you undergo a sudden violent momentum transfer event. John.
