And as for what the incoming administration will do...well how about a "New Deal". Alternatively get rid of the elderly cabal in the FED open the windows and let some fresh air in. That should be anough(sic).

Wow....There is the solution to all our problems...More government. I suppose we need the Republicans to step in periodically to take the fall and open things up for yet another Democratic platform. You don't suppose the economy was already on this rollercoaster before GW even stepped into office.

No need to respond. I'm not interested in another political debate. Just can't help but wonder how George is already responsible for all of this mess. I do think it will be 2004 before we first try to crawl out of the impending recession...I have little assurance that we will have bottomed by then. After a lower high bull market...We should crater again well into the "Democratic" regime. The next political race, then, should be a fair fight.
