Why on earth did they need to do a deal with an internet SP? They effetively gave away Warners reall assets for a high stock price or thats what it looks like to me. Well at that time, everybody thought so because the internet distribution channel right to the customer was the single most important thing in the new economy. Even ATT spends billions, sometimes in cash to buy cable operators because it was seeing a serious threat from so called ISPs. Regards, marginnayan
