I didn't see any negative reactions to the two posts you made. In fact, the responses were polite and in some cases, complimentary. You acted on your dd, and were proven right - at least in the timeframe between July 2000 and now <gg>. Congratulations, and thanks for the documentation. Out of curiosity, how long had you held csco before you closed the position?

>> I will continue to offer up my observations - e.g. why I am not buying in. kind of like a counterpoint. I was once bullish, am now bearish. Hope to be bullish not too long from now. My opinion varies with the market, not the other way around.

That's just fine, but I would encourage you to keep in mind that the primary mission of the thread is to vet g&k candidates in a market agnostic manner. If your interests lean exclusively to macro-economics and general market strategy, you might find MDD a more rewarding venue.

John,

I've seen enough from you about "lemmings," people who need to "wrap their neurons" around this and that, and other condescending, mean-spirited stuff such as the comment in your post to Frank that "You might find it interesting." I don't need to go to the Cisco thread to get a flavor of you; you've posted amply here.

You say some really great stuff. I'm sure I could learn a lot from you. But I don't think I'll be living in a wasteland of ignorance without your counsel. Life is too short and too much fun for me to feel compelled to wade through the way you say stuff to get to what you say. So I'll no longer try.
