So Aus, should SanDisk or should they not take a 20%+ position in Tower?

Before you answer the question, you should try and understand why I think TOWER SEMICONDUCTOR (TSEM), from the perspective of an investment, is an incredible BUY at this time. The information is out there if you are willing to look. After one inspects it, they may truly step back and claim that Tower's current extremely low price is simply flabbergasting.

For instance, try to understand the connection at this one:

Calc,

Appalling Aus…pathetic actually.

re: additional investment in TSEM

I only questioned why SanDisk would exercise at the price negotiated given the current
market price of TSEM. You presented it as both an option and an "obligation" to invest.
If it is an option, than it would be a no-brainer. Sorry that you took offense
to that statement. If it is an "obligation" than it I trust SNDK would honor
its commitment to make a second investment in TSEM.

Sorry for my ignorance.
