And that's my point, wouldn't you rather hear about ways to make money than the intricacies of the short sale rule that I doubt effects anyone who reads this board.

Not that I mind discussing other things, but at least address the points I'm making rather than making false analogies; i.e. is it not true that complaining by investors was the catalyst for the new margin rules, rather than some plot by Nazdaq "big boys?" And is not true that the short sale rule needs to be advised to accommodate sophisticated financial products such as CFDs, swaps, repo etc.? And is it not true that even if the rule is revised it will have little effect on us? Answer those points specifically rather than waxing poetic about some company that charged you for something you did not receive.
