Actually, you are wrong. A person's compliance with the law is not a good indication of what he thinks of the law as a general imposition. Voters are allowed to be hypocrites. Plenty of people who flouted prohibition supported it in principle, because they were afraid the lower classes were becoming gin- soaked. Anyway, the prevalence of speeders showed only that the law was impractical, or perhaps unwise, not necessarily that it was unjust, which is a more difficult determination.........
